Such are the images portrayed of the nations in the classic television comedy 'Allo 'Allo, which is launching a UK stage tour in Hertfordshire. The show centres on the comings and goings at a café in the Nazi-occupied French town of Nouvion, owned by René Artois, who tries to satisfy everyone without being killed.

A Hertford audience visited A Little Shop of Horrors in a youth production of the 1980s musical film. Children and teenagers of Top Hat Stage and Screen School put on a highly praised performance of the show about the human-eating plant at Castle Hall on Friday, following five days of intense rehearsals.
